We appreciate your support!
Welcome! Fridays are the day when we at the McElrath Cabaret Blog are going to present blog posts in our Cabaret Through Time series. We are going to present historical cabaret singers, entertainers, venues, writers, and musicians, and will begin to compile a cabaret timeline. We hope that you find it informative, and that you enjoy it!
Bobby Short–A Classy Saloon Singer Of The First Order
We are on our way out to the theatre tonight, so today’s post will be more in form of a video tribute to one of my favorite cabaret entertainers, Bobby Short. There is more information about Bobby Short on a previous post, including a great deal of information from Bobby Shorts autobiography, as well as a brief website for Mr. Short, which includes many additional links. There is a Facebook page as well.
