2015 Year-End Recap

We had such a great year entertaining throughout the region. March brought us to Seattle, to participate in the Pacific Northwest Cabaret Association’s March is Cabaret Month Festival at Egan’s Ballard Jam House–a real thrill to sing and play there!

Earlier this summer, we had a

fantastic afternoon presenting our

“Cocktails, Memories and You”

cabaret show on Father’s Day 2015

that was part of a fundraising event

for the Clark County Democratic

Next came summer fun with us both acting in an outdoor touring production by Masque Alfresco of Carlo Goldoni’s The Venetian Twins, which played in Lake Oswego, Beaverton and Hillsboro.

We also were fortunate to work on several on-camera projects thruoghout the year.  Athena was featured as a Medieval Fishmonger Wench in the Animal Planet tv pilot, Medieval Monsters!  This aired on Animal Planet in May during their Monsters Week lineup.  I also appeared in a Toyota of Seattle commercial, a Toyota spec. advertisement, K. J. in a music video, both of us in a promotional project with Berry MediaWorks, and I am about to begin work in an independent film–all of it a great deal of fun!

This fall brought us to audiences throughout the area in several holiday productions:

The first was Flash-Ah-Ahh!, a musical parody of Flash Gordon with music by the rock group Queen:

Next, a little Shakespeare–we reprised our roles of Petra Quince and Flute/Thisbe from A Midsummer Night’s Dream as part of a fundraiser for Portland Actors Ensemble sponsored by the ISing choir, who sang Shakespeare songs interspersed with scenes from the play:

And then–Cinderella with Masque Alfresco, done in British Panto style, with Athena as Fairy Godmother and K. J. as composer and pianist:

We wish you the happiest of holidays and a bright new year in 2016!  We’d love to see you in the New Year!
